The NBA's Shooting 'Win Curve'

The chart below shows teams plotted with their winning percentage against their shooting efficiency.  Every team in NBA history was placed into a bucket of 100 teams most closely matching their shooting percentages.  The average of each bucket's shooting & winning percentages is shown on the graph.

For instance the 100 teams who clustered around 101 True Shooting+ won on average 52% of their games that season.  Teams that clustered around 99 TS+ won 48% of their games.

Good Shooting Teams Tend
to Win a lot of Games...Duh!
